What is NameBeta

NameBeta is a domain search and price comparison platform. It checks whether a domain can be registered, compares registration and renewal prices across registrars, and looks up WHOIS, DNS and IP records. You can use it on the web, from a browser extension, or from an AI assistant over MCP.

Get started

  1. Search a name. Type a name such as kettlory into the search box on namebeta.com. A bare name is checked across a set of popular TLDs; a full domain such as kettlory.com is checked on its own.
  2. Check status and prices. Each result shows whether the domain is available, taken, for sale or reserved. Open one to compare what each registrar charges to register and to renew it.
  3. Register it. Pick a registrar and follow the link to complete the registration on their site.

Searching on the website needs no account. MCP requires signing in with a NameBeta account, and its calls count against the same plan quota as the website.
