Connect a client

Every client connects the same way:

1. Add the server. Give the client the URL https://namebeta.com/api/mcp. Leave any client ID, secret or token fields empty — unless the client needs a pre-registered client ID, as the table below shows.
2. Sign in. The client opens the NameBeta sign-in page. Sign in, or create an account there, and approve access on the consent screen.
3. Ask. Ask your assistant about a domain, and it picks the tools itself.

"Client ID: Needed" means the client supports only Dynamic Client Registration, which NameBeta does not offer, so you ask us for a client ID first. "Checked against vendor docs" means the steps follow the client's own documentation, but we have not yet completed a sign-in to NameBeta from that client ourselves. Each client's page says what exactly was checked.

Switch accounts

Calls count against the NameBeta account you signed in with. To use a different one:

1. Disconnect NameBeta in the client; each client's page says how.
2. Sign out at namebeta.com.
3. Connect again, and sign in with the other account.
